Ellen DeGeneres Postpones Several ‘Last Stand … Up’ Tour Dates

Additional Coverage:

Ellen DeGeneres has unexpectedly canceled several dates of her multi-city comedy tour just after it began. Ticketmaster announced the cancellations for the “Ellen’s Last Stand …

Up” tour, with shows in Dallas, San Francisco, Seattle, and Chicago no longer going ahead. The reason for these cancellations remains unclear, but the news has certainly disappointed many fans, especially those looking forward to the July 10 event at the Music Hall at Fair Park in Dallas.

While the aforementioned cities have seen some dates canceled, other scheduled performances in these locations are still set to proceed. Ticket holders for the canceled shows have been assured that they will receive full refunds through their original payment methods.

Ellen recently launched her tour and has used it as an opportunity to address her departure from the television industry following accusations of promoting a toxic work environment. These allegations led her to end her long-running talk show in 2022. During a recent performance in Santa Rosa, California, DeGeneres defended her character to the audience, stating, “I am many things, but I am not mean.”

Looking ahead, Ellen DeGeneres is set to delve deeper into the scandal in a new Netflix stand-up special scheduled for release this fall.
