Frontier Plane Catches Fire During Las Vegas Landing

A Frontier Airlines flight from San Diego to Las Vegas made an emergency landing at Harry Reid International Airport on Saturday evening after pilots detected smoke.

The plane caught fire upon landing, but firefighters quickly extinguished the flames. All 190 passengers and seven crew members safely exited the aircraft using stairs.

No injuries were reported. Passengers were transported to the terminal by bus.

The cause of the incident is being investigated by Frontier Airlines and the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). The airport has implemented a ground stop until 7 p.m. to facilitate the investigation.
