Hurricane Helene has wreaked havoc in the southeastern United States, causing severe flooding and damaging winds. As of Saturday, the Category 4 storm has claimed at least 52 lives, according to the Associated Press.
Millions have lost power and been displaced from their homes. Evacuations have been underway since before landfall.
President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris have pledged to provide all necessary resources for recovery.
"We will spare no effort to ensure that affected areas can rebuild quickly," Biden said on Saturday.
