Israeli Prime Minister Warns Hezbollah After Assassination Attempt

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has denounced an alleged assassination attempt against him and his wife as a “grave mistake.” The attempt, attributed to Hezbollah, a Lebanese militant group linked to Iran, prompted Netanyahu to issue a stern warning to Iran and its allies.

Netanyahu vowed that Israel would pursue its objectives in the ongoing conflict and “change the security reality” in the region. He threatened severe consequences for those who attack Israel’s citizens and promised to liberate hostages and secure the borders.

The assassination attempt involved a drone launched toward Netanyahu’s private residence. While the prime minister and his wife were not present, reports indicate minor damage to the property.

Following the incident, Netanyahu expressed confidence in Israel’s victory in the conflict and highlighted the recent elimination of a senior Hamas leader. He also praised the U.S. for its support and ongoing efforts to strengthen Israel’s defenses.
