Mother and 2 Children Die in Niagara Falls Plunge

Tragedy struck Niagara Falls when a mother and her two young children intentionally went over the falls on Monday night.

The victims were identified as 33-year-old Chianti Means, her 9-year-old son Roman Rossman, and 5-month-old daughter Mecca Means. The family resided in the Niagara Falls area.

According to New York State Police, the incident occurred around 9 p.m. when witnesses reported seeing the trio climb over a safety rail and plunge into the falls.

Despite extensive search and rescue efforts, their bodies were not recovered. Police stated that the investigation is ongoing but confirmed that the act was “intentional in nature.”

The family is cooperating with the investigation, and police hope to provide them with closure. The motive for the tragic incident remains unclear.
