Local food influencer Rebecca Wylie Simms, known as “Boo,” has passed away at 39 due to complications from surgery. Her twin sister, Sarah Simms Hendrix, announced the news on social media, expressing profound sadness and describing the loss as “immeasurable.”
Sarah called her sister a “magic maker” and “the brightest light.” The twins co-owned Lady & Larder, a cheese and wine shop with locations in Santa Monica and Carmel. The Carmel Valley location is temporarily closed.
