In a surprising turn of events, Vito the pug has been crowned the National Dog Show’s best in show. This is the first time in decades that a pug has taken the top prize.
Vito, the reigning No. 1 pug in show systems, has racked up an impressive 25 best-in-shows despite being only 2-and-a-half years old. Judge George Milutinovich praised Vito’s appearance, temperament, and structure, saying he embodies the pug breed standard.
