Seahawks Center Connor Williams Retires from NFL

Seattle Seahawks center Connor Williams has decided to retire from the NFL. The 27-year-old veteran informed head coach Mike Macdonald of his decision on Friday.

Williams had started all nine games for the Seahawks this season, but he missed practice all week due to personal reasons. After their Week 10 bye, Williams apparently decided to end his playing career.

Williams joined the Seahawks in August after recovering from an ACL tear suffered in 2023. He previously played for the Dallas Cowboys and Miami Dolphins.

Replacing Williams at center will be Olu Oluwatimi, a fifth-round pick in the 2023 draft. Oluwatimi has one start under his belt and will face the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday.
