A nationwide manhunt is underway for 45-year-old Nicholas Wayne Hamlett, who is wanted for murder in Tennessee.
Hamlett is 5’7″, 170 lbs, and considered armed and dangerous. He has ties to several states, including Montana, Tennessee, Alabama, and Florida.
On October 18, a body was found with Brandon Andrade’s ID. However, authorities later determined that the ID had been stolen and that Hamlett had been using it.
Hamlett is believed to have fled his home before his true identity was discovered. The investigation is ongoing, and the deceased remains unidentified.
The Monroe County Sheriff’s Office urges anyone who sees Hamlett to call 911 immediately.
