Two Missing Firefighters Found Dead in Tennessee Car

Additional Coverage:

The search for two Georgia firefighters came to a tragic end when their bodies were discovered inside a vehicle in Cocke County, Tennessee. Chandler Kuhbander and Reaegan Anderson, both serving in Hinesville, Georgia, near Savannah, were confirmed dead by WSB-TV on Sunday. The circumstances surrounding their demise remain unclear as investigations continue.

The Hinesville Police Department expressed their sorrow over the loss of Kuhbander and Anderson, offering condolences to their families during this heart-wrenching period. Autopsies have been scheduled to determine the cause of their deaths.

According to reports from WBIR, Anderson was last seen on June 25 at a Liberty County Fire Service station, supposedly in Kuhbander’s company. Concerns about their disappearance were heightened by a social media post from Kuhbander’s mother, Jane, who claimed Anderson had coerced her son and posed a risk to herself. She insisted her son did not willingly accompany Anderson, though police have yet to confirm these assertions.

Family members disclosed that Anderson and Kuhbander had a romantic relationship that had ended prior to their disappearance. Jane Kuhbander shared a recount of her son’s last known moments, emphasizing the normalcy of his behavior and the profound shock and fear the situation has brought upon the family.
